II. Information We Collect

To provide you with loan services and ensure transaction security, we need to collect the following information:

Identity Information: Your full name, date of birth, gender, government-issued ID details and numbers (e.g., UMID, Driver's License, Passport, National ID), and facial recognition images (for liveness verification).

Contact Information: Mobile number, email address, residential address, and names and phone numbers of emergency contacts.

Financial Information: Your payday, bank account number or e-wallet account number (GCash, PayMaya, etc.).

Device and Technical Information: IP address, device identifiers (IMEI, Android ID), device model, operating system version, network type, app usage logs, crash reports, and installed application list (used solely for fraud prevention).

Location Information: With your separate authorization, we may collect approximate location while you use the Services for risk assessment and fraud prevention.

III. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only for the following legitimate purposes:

To verify your identity and comply with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) legal obligations.

To assess your creditworthiness and repayment ability, and to determine loan approval, amount, and interest rate.

To disburse loans, manage your account, and process repayments.

To send you account updates, payment reminders, and important notices.

To detect, prevent, and stop fraud, money laundering, account takeover, and other illegal activities.

To optimize App performance, improve user experience, and perform anonymous statistical analysis.

IV. Information Sharing and Disclosure

Edm Cash promises that it will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information in any form.

V. Use of Third-Party SDKs

The App integrates necessary third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs) to enable specific functions:

Adjust SDK: Used for statistical analysis and attribution. It may collect anonymized device identifiers, IP address, app installation, and usage behavior.

Liveness Detection SDK: Used for facial recognition and liveness detection. It temporarily processes your facial images for identity verification purposes only. No biometric templates are retained after verification is complete.

VI. Your Rights Regarding Personal Information

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act (DPA), you have the following rights:

The right to be informed of how your information is processed.

The right to access the personal information we hold about you.

The right to rectify inaccurate or incomplete information.

The right to request erasure or blocking of your information (subject to legal retention requirements).

VIII. Account Deletion

You may delete your Edm Cash account and request deletion of your personal information through the following methods:

In-app deletion: Log in to the App, go to Settings > Account Security > Delete Account, and confirm.

Email request: Send a deletion request from your registered email address to support@edmitweb.com.

Important Note: You must have fully repaid all loan principal, interest, and fees before you can successfully delete your account. After deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal information, except for information that must be retained by law (such as transaction records).

IX. Protection of Minors

Our Services are intended only for individuals aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you discover that a minor has provided personal information to us without parental consent, please contact us and we will delete such information immediately.

X. Updates to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted within the App, and the "Last Updated" date will be revised. Material changes will be notified to you via in-app pop-up or email. Your continued use of the Services after the update constitutes your acceptance of the new version.
